This cycle event recently came to Bowral and 2,500 cyclists enjoyed rides around the Highlands. Bowral-Mittagong Rotary members (with the assistance of some friends) manned more than 50 marshalling points along the gruelling courses.

As usual, the members also manned the tradition Classic BBQ for the riders and their friends. The queues got longer and long as demand increased during the day. We guess that makes the Rotary snag on a roll a demand commodity.

A recent night out at our meeting venue (Highlands Golf Club) gave a number of our members a pleasant evening (and dinner) with the George Washingmachine jazz band. A lot of old favourites were rendered along with a lot of jamming. It was a great night out.

Celebrating 35 Years of Volunteering. This week the Bowral-Mittagong Rotary recognised the 35 year members of the club. In total over 466 YEARS of service to the community were acknowledged last night.
