Each year, Race Day stands out as one of the most anticipated events in our community—and for the Rotary Bowral Mittagong, it’s a proud tradition filled with service, teamwork, and fun.
The Horsepower behind the Scenes
In the days before the event, our members are hard at work, spending two full days carefully marking out all the carparking spaces. It’s a big job, but it’s handled with efficiency, good humour, and plenty of Rotary spirit.
On Race Day itself, we’re there early to greet and guide patrons, directing traffic and ensuring everyone gets to their designated spot safely and smoothly. Our volunteers are the first friendly faces racegoers see, and we take pride in making their arrival stress-free and well-organized.
The Sizzle of Service
Of course, no Race Day is complete without our Rotary BBQ—a crowd favourite! We serve up a classic menu of sausages, burgers, and more to keep patrons well-fed and happy throughout the day. The smell of the grill and the friendly faces behind the tongs have become a Race Day staple.
